Whether you thought #2011 was awesome and a possible all time series favourite, or whether you thought it was one of the weaker issues in this amazingly successful long running series - you can't miss #2012 - it's gonna have some of the best Batman, Spider-Man and Avengers - and maybe there'll be some good movies as well!

Hope everyone is recovering (and boxing) well today! We'll be back and open tomorrow (Tuesday 27th December) from 11am - 4pm, then regular hours until New Years Day (when we'll be closed for the day) !

| In Memoriam - Elisabeth Sladen - 27/04/2011 |
Most Doctor Who fans probably know this by now, but as a fan myself - I fell it would be remiss not to mention it.
On 19th April, Elisabeth Sladen, who played Sarah Jane Smith in Doctor Who (from 1973 - 1976) , and up until the present day, both in Doctor Who and in the spin-off series Sarah Jane Adventures - passed away after a long battle with cancer.
She will be missed by many, including myself.
Thank You for all the wonderful memories, and the passion , class and all around quality you injected into your work.

While not as highly regarded as The Eisner Awards, or The Eagle Awards, the annual Diamond Gem awards are slightly unique because the nominations are compiled by industry professionals, and retailers vote for the final awards.
Seems like DC almost clean-sweeped the awards this year - but there are a few surprises!
